Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker apprentice to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in various machining processes. The Tool and Die Maker apprentice will work closely with engineers and production staff to ensure that all tools meet the required specifications for efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities

Create custom jigs, fixtures and tools. Set up and operate milling machines, lathes, and other machining equipment. Interpret schematics and technical drawings to produce accurate components. Utilize hand tools and precision measuring instruments such as calipers to ensure high-quality standards are met. Conduct assembly tasks as required. Deburring and polishing. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.

Experience

Proven experience as a Tool and Die Maker or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in machining processes. Ability to perform mathematical calculations related to machining processes accurately. Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers is essential.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42 per week
