Tire Technician \xe2\x80\x93 Medium Truck / Commercial / OTR City Tire & Auto (St. John\xe2\x80\x99s/Mount Pearl) is seeking an experienced Tire Technician to join its customer focused and safety-oriented team. Work Expectation
- \xc2\xb7 Install, repair or replace tires and wheels of commercial vehicles.
- \xc2\xb7 Review work orders and discuss work with management and/or customer.
- \xc2\xb7 Inspect tire / wheel operation, and test tire, wheel and components for repair or replacement needs.
- \xc2\xb7 Able to work independently with little supervision. Ability to operate a Tire Service Truck independently.
- \xc2\xb7 Attention to detail.
- \xc2\xb7 Good computer skills.
- \xc2\xb7 Good communication skills both verbal & written.
- \xc2\xb7 Hours of Operation is 8:00AM to 5:00PM \xe2\x80\x93 Monday thru Friday.
- \xc2\xb7 Permanent position.
- \xc2\xb7 A skilled Tire Technician with more than two years experience that works well within a team environment.
- \xc2\xb7 Completion of a Commercial Vehicle Wheel/Rim Installation Certificate Program.
- \xc2\xb7 Willing and eager to work with passenger and light truck tire techs to enable their progression in the trade.
- \xc2\xb7 Must be able and willing to take assignments as directed from management team.
- \xc2\xb7 A valid driver\'s license is non-negotiable. Applicant must provide a satisfactory driver\'s abstract.
- \xc2\xb7 Air brake endorsement or a Class 3 Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License would be beneficial.
- \xc2\xb7 Competitive compensation: $15.97 - $20.34 per hour for experienced commercial tire technicians.
- \xc2\xb7 Plus incentive based earnings.
