Tire Technician

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tire Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible (but not limited to) for the installation, maintenance, and repair of tires for various vehicles. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge and have a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service. This position requires the ability to work with hand and power tools, as well as perform heavy lifting.

Duties

Install, balance, and repair tires on various types of vehicles. Conduct thorough inspections of tires to assess wear and damage. Maintain tire inventory and ensure proper storage practices. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and offering recommendations. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Assist in other automotive repair tasks as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Skills

Proficiency in using hand tools and tire machine relevant to tire installation and maintenance. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during tire changes and repairs. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building rapport with clients. Previous experience in a dealership or automotive service environment is preferred but not required. Sales skills are a plus, as you may be involved in recommending additional services or products to customers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.20-$28.11 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 42.5 per week
