General Laborer - Tire Loading Support AssociateRandstad Canada is recruiting for an immediate openings for full time laborer\'s to work with our busy manufacturing client in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia! Our laborer positions play a key support role for our clients Warehouse and Manufacturing teams, helping to ensure daily shipping requirements are met while maintaining high levels of quality in a safe and effective manner!Tire Loading Support Associate trains as a back-up Tire Loader, which involves the repetitive lifting of roughly 3,000-4,000 tires per shift to complete the required tire loads. If you can repetitively lift 50+ pounds, and are a motivated self-starter that enjoys working in fast paced environments, than a role as a Warehouse Shipping Support Associate might be the opportunity for you! In addition to providing Tire Loading support, the Warehouse Shipping Support Associate helps maintain the warehouse on a daily basis, supporting the tire loading and shipping teams, warehouse maintenance, and other duties as assigned.Position Details:Rotating shifts: 12-hr days/weekends (rotational schedule - usually 7am-7pm, but flexibility is a requirement)
Starting rate: Base hourly rate of $18.00/hour plus plus Evening ($2) and Sunday ($3.85 shift premiums). Overtime Opportunities available.

Tire Loading Support Associate is a Tire Loading support role, and a back-up for absences and vacation coverage. Tire Loading involves:

• Manually loading tires onto a conveyor belt/into shipping containers
• Repetitive Lifting up to 55lbs
• Operating powered industrial vehicles (walkie stacker/forklift)
• Accurate recording of data (tire load sheets, shipping logs)
• Off-loading tires from conveyor belt into shipping trailer.

In addition to Tire Loading responsibilities, the Tire Loading Support Associate will:

• assist loading teams with two person lift tires
• keeping loading bay + areas clean
• Inspecting tires loads for quality errors
• Tagging/labelling products
• Recording production + quality numbers

Qualifications

• Must be able to repetitively lifting of up to 55lbs - repetitive lifting is a key function of the role
• Safety oriented with the ability to comply with all safety regulations
• Eye for detail, ability to spot nonconforming product/quality discrepancies
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team based environment
• Comfortable working in a standing position
• Reliable and highly motivated
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently
