Randstad Canada is recruiting heavy laborers for our Warehouse Tire Loading team in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia!As a Warehouse Tire Loader in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, you are responsible for meeting daily shipping requirements by loading tires into shipping containers while maintaining high levels of quality in a safe and effective manner!The Tire Loading position is a physically demanding role, requiring the repetitive lifting of roughly 3,000-4,000 tires per shift to complete the required tire loads. If you can repetitively lift 50+ pounds, and are a motivated self-starter that enjoys working in fast paced environments, than a role as a Tire Loader might be the opportunity for you!Position Details:Employment Type: Full Time, Rotational Day Shift
Schedule: Rotational shift schedule - Monday to Sunday (5am, 10am and 2pm start times - 8-9 hours average per shift)
Average shift length to complete 4 Tire Loads: 8-9 Hours
Pay Rate: $18 per hour (during training period) Once validated, Loaders are paid per load of tires completed (at 1.5-2 hour average per load, pay rate is $29.5 per hour)

Tire Loaders work in a team of two, and are responsible for:

• Manually loading tires onto a conveyor belt (3-4 loads per shift)
• Operating powered industrial vehicles (walkie stacker)
• Accurate recording of data (tire load sheets, shipping logs)
• Off-loading tires from conveyor belt into shipping trailer.
• Operating conveyor belt.
• Keeping loading bay + areas clean
• Inspecting tires loads for quality errors
• Maintaining a safe + clean work environment

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform repetitive lifting of up to 50lbs for entire shift
• Safety oriented with the ability to comply with all safety regulations
• Eye for detail, ability to spot nonconforming product/quality discrepancies
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team based environment
• Comfortable working in a standing position while
• Highly motivated
• Reliable
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently
• 2 supervisor references
