Job Description
Western Toyota is looking for a
Tire and Lube Tech/Shop Hand
to join our team on a full time, seasonal basis, starting around mid-September. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a mechanical background, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.Typical duties include:
Assist with installation, balancing, and rotating tires on vehicles using appropriate tools and equipment. Assist with removal of wheel assemblies and dismounting of tires. Perform tire repairs and maintenance services as needed, including patching and replacing tires. Maintain a clean and organized shop area to promote safety and efficiency. Work with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks. Assist with drive-thru duties. Other duties as required.
Requirements:
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required (consistently lift 75-100 pounds). Knowledge of tire maintenance practices and automotive repair is an asset. Mechanical aptitude considered an asset. Proven ability to take direction and work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to work in a fast paced environment. A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driver's abstract.
