Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled

TIG Welder

to join our team. This role involves welding a variety of materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, both in-shop and on-site. You'll have opportunities for growth through hands-on experience, training, and certifications including CWB qualification and Welder Apprenticeships.

Key Responsibilities

Perform TIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and various alloys. Operate forklifts and cranes for safe material handling. Work from blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to process raw materials. Follow all safety guidelines per the Occupational Health & Safety Act and company procedures. Participate in safety meetings and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Skills & Qualifications

Minimum

3 years

of TIG welding experience in a custom or job shop environment (preferred). Strong understanding of welding processes, safety practices, and equipment use. Able to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Capable of working independently and as part of a team. Physically fit - able to lift up to

75 lbs

. Comfortable working in various environments: heights, confined spaces, noisy/dusty areas.

Certifications (Required or Considered an Asset)

CWB Welding Certification TSSA Certification WHMIS Certificate Worker Health & Safety Awareness Steel-toed safety boots (mandatory)

Work Environment

Mix of indoor shop and outdoor site work Exposure to heights, confined spaces, and loud/dusty conditions

Pay: $25.00-$38.00 per hour
