Summary



SGA Tech Solutions (www.sgatechsolutions.com) is seeking a Technology Analyst (Tier 2 IT) with strong project coordination experience to join our IT team.

This role combines advanced technical support responsibilities with coordination of IT-related projects.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong troubleshooting background, excellent communication skills, and proactive approach to managing tasks and supporting project lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities:



1. Tier 2 IT Support (60%)

Serve as the escalation point for Tier 1 support issues, resolving complex hardware, software, network, and application issues. Troubleshoot and support Windows/macOS operating systems, Office 365, VPN, Active Directory, and cloud-based platforms. Maintain documentation of support procedures, known issues, and solutions in the helpdesk system. Provide remote and on-site support to end-users and departments, ensuring timely resolution and high customer satisfaction. Collaborate with other Tier 2 IT and vendors for escalated issues or advanced troubleshooting.
2. Project Coordination (40%)

Assist in planning, executing, and tracking IT projects, such as system upgrades, hardware rollouts, or infrastructure improvements. Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units, translating technical requirements into actionable project plans. Coordinate with stakeholders, track project milestones, manage timelines, and provide regular status updates. Maintain project documentation, including scopes of work, change requests, testing plans, and deployment schedules. Monitor risks and proactively resolve issues to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications:



A Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science would be an asset. 2-4 years of experience in Tier 2 IT support or similar technical role. Proven experience supporting end-user hardware and software in a business environment. Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., Jira, Freshservice) and ticketing systems. Basic knowledge of project management principles and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello). Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with project coordination or support of IT infrastructure projects.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
