Job Description



PRIMARY OBJECTIVE The Ticket Operations Coordinator is responsible for providing outstanding customer service to Ottawa Senators season seat members on game nights in the box office, and through the timely and accurate processing of account information, salesforce cases and inventory management. Under the direction of the Manager and Assistant Manager, they will assist with the setup of events on the ticketing system ensuring accuracy of entry. As necessary, they will assist with administering fraud detection and prevention strategies, with ticketing account receivables/collections and will respond to general customer service/fan feedback. Finally, they will assist with box office Live events as required. The Coordinator guarantees all responsibilities are performed in an atmosphere of congeniality, and efficiency while ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Ongoing

  • Resolve issues pertaining to Ottawa Senators season seat members in the box office during ALL Ottawa Senators home games;
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of season seat and suite information, including;
    • Season ticket renewals and payments
  • Perform other duties as required
  • Assist with event set up in Archtics/Host in a correct, prompt and efficient manner for Ottawa/Belleville Senators including price types, discounts, promotion codes, game packs, staff tickets, ticket formats, group offers, fees and account manager setup;
  • Inventory management and release of holds including NHL, referee, camera obstructed, player, visiting team, season package, flex, dress the house, etc; to ensure revenue is maximized for all games;
  • Dynamic pricing updates;
  • Coordinate visiting team and home team tickets with respective team representatives as required;
  • Responsible for administering fraud detection and prevention strategies to ensure chargebacks are within acceptable limits;
  • Assist the finance department with collections as required, contacting accounts in default and securing payment;
  • Under direction of the box office team, assist with Live event builds, reporting and execution, working in box office as necessary to provide adequate resources;
Periodic
  • Responsible for assisting with the review of polices and procedures for Ticket Operations, and ensuring that they align with the strategic objectives of the organization
  • Represent the Ottawa Senators Hockey Club and Canadian Tire Centre in a positive manner to fans and the community
Requirements
  • Available to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and statutory holidays as dictated by the schedule, and ALL Ottawa Senators Home Games
  • 2 to 3 years previous office experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Previous Box Office / ticketing experience an asset
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient spreadsheet application
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Team player
  • Bilingual an asset
