Job Description

Closing the Gap Healthcare (CTG) provides Canadians with the highest level of care across a wide range of clinic and home-based community care settings.




We are looking for 2 - full time

Therapy Assistant (Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy Assistant)

to join our Paeds team. This OTA/PTA can bring their therapy services skills to our GTA

.




Our Therapy Assistant will be working mainly under highly skilled and trained Registered PTs and some OTs to provide

school based rehab services throughout GTA schools.






What you will be doing:




You will be working with our physiotherapy and occupational therapy team under the supervision of a Registered PTs and OTs to implement intervention programming. Provide health teaching, exercise programs, fine motor and sensory programming with clients in-person and virtually.





Skills needed for success:




Recent graduates from a recognized OTA/PTA college program or kinesiology is an asset. A proven track record of being able to work independently, as well as comfortable working in a team. Building relationships with clients, families/ caregivers and school teams. Must have a valid Driver's License and the use of a reliable vehicle.
