The Therapy Assistant (TA) is primarily responsible for implementing Applied Behavior Analysis, Speech Language Pathology, and Occupational Therapy interventions for children and youth with autism spectrum disorder or other learning and development delays and/or maladaptive behaviour. The role of the TA is to execute intervention plans developed and supervised by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst BCBA), Speech Language Pathologist, and/or Occupational Therapist to clients in care of Monarch House. The TA will work within an interdisciplinary team to support skill acquisition and/or decrease maladaptive behaviors while providing an engaging and positive client experience in a fast paced and frequently changing environment. The TA is primarily responsible for implementing interdisciplinary treatment to clients across Monarch House.
