The Therapeutic Lead will serve as the scientific and strategic expert for a specific therapeutic area, providing leadership in the development and execution of our commercial strategy in their assigned therapeutic area. This role involves cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders and will ultimately be a key player in driving BioScript's success of the therapeutic area portfolio, ensuring alignment with broader commercial and corporate objectives.
How you will make an impact
Strategic Leadership for Commercial Team
• Build and maintain solid trusting relationships with key influential health care providers while ensuring assigned customer's needs and expectations are met.
• Engagement with both internal and external stakeholders to develop actionable insights in their assigned therapeutic area.
• Lead the cross-functional development of a therapeutic area strategic plan to accelerate commercial growth, ensuring alignment with corporate goals, therapeutic area opportunities and health care market dynamics.
• Lead the development of required forecasts within assigned therapeutic area, and utilize expertise to support the development of broader organizational forecasting
• In partnership with the Director Business development and relevant commercial and cross-functional partners, develop and execute on a tactical plan, leveraging BioScript capabilities and/or external resources to provide sustainable value offerings in support of accelerated growth.
• Lead the development and execution of programs, materials and clinic projects to support achievement of our strategic objectives.
• Effective management of operational spend within allocated budget
• Act as the therapeutic area champion in internal forums, presenting program updates, strategic initiatives, and risk assessments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Collaborate with Strategy & Growth/Partner Engagement teams in the preparation of future business proposals in the assigned therapeutic area.
• Provide therapeutic area expertise in discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain an open line of communication between physician and stakeholders.
What you'll bring to our team
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences and/or business;
• Prior experience working with patients and/or completed additional certification or training in the assigned therapeutic area is an asset
Experience
• Prior experience in pharmaceutical marketing is an asset (5+ years experience in Product Management)
• Experience working within an Immunology portfolio
• Bilingualism - English/French is an asset
Skills
• Able to travel throughout assigned region as required
• Demonstrated strong proficiency in computer and technological skills, specifically Microsoft Office suite of products and email/fax
• Superior communication (written and spoken) with strong attention to detail
• Proven ability to organize time, set priorities, and multi-task in order to meet various competing working deadlines
• Able to work independently and in a team environment
• Proven excellence in customer service-related task
• Effective interpersonal skills with a positive demeanor
• Proficiency in analyzing clinical data and translating insights into actionable strategies.
