The Courts at Uptown is hiring staff for the summer season. This is a customer service-based position as you will be interacting with a variety of different guests, including youth, seniors, and children. We are looking for people who love the hustle and enjoy bringing a little extra fun to the everyday.
This is a temporary position for the summer months with the opportunity to be a seasonal staff member for other positions throughout the year. Part time and full-time positions available.
Our successful candidates will be responsible for:
Checking people in for their pickleball bookings
Selling snacks and beverages
Actively participating in outdoor activities
Providing guest services including but not limited to: Answering the phone, wayfinding, receiving feedback and complaints
Setting up and taking down outdoor activities and programing
Interacting with different departments across the property including security, maintenance and operational teams
Offer support for private events and programing
Qualifications:
Previous experience in customer service (1 year preferred)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Flexibility availability
Ability to work alone and in a team setting
Basic pickleball knowledge
Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time
Background in sports, camp leadership, or youth programing a bonus
