Assist in the design of test fixtures and setups and oversee their construction, assemble/prepare instrumentation wiring/cabling
Axial load and torque calibration methodologies;
Measurement of pressures, temperatures, mass and/or volumetric flows, air velocities and air flow mapping, electrical currents, local strains and vehicle component loads, accelerations and/or vibration, sound pressures and equivalent sound pressure levels, luminous intensity, live fire blast pressures, high voltage measurements, vehicle network (CAN) data
Measurements pertaining to vehicle behavior: pitch and roll angles, yaw angular rate, vehicle speed and GPS data
Telemetry systems (UHF or inductive)
Assist in the ballasting of test vehicles
Program and setup of Data Acquisition (DAQ) systems, manually record non-electronic data during testing
Participate in test execution, ensure that captured real time data is accurate through proper setup and confirmation of test instrumentation (grounding, guarding & shielding techniques, pre-test evaluation)
Perform required data processing:
Real time data recording of up to 5 MS/sec;
Data processing using HBM N-Code Glyphworks, Infield and LabView
High definition and high speed video recording
