Spectramedx is seeking an experienced and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling a portfolio of advanced respiratory and patient monitoring products to hospitals and healthcare institutions across British Columbia and Alberta.
We're looking for a strategic sales professional with a strong background in medical device sales -- ideally in respiratory care -- who thrives in a consultative, solutions-oriented environment. You will be expected to build strong relationships with clinical and procurement stakeholders, identify new opportunities, and drive growth across the territory.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic territory business plan to meet or exceed sales targets and drive market expansion.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clinicians, department heads, and procurement teams within hospitals and healthcare facilities.
Conduct professional product presentations and in-service demonstrations, effectively communicating the clinical and operational benefits of our respiratory and monitoring solutions.
Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to strategically position Spectramedx's offerings.
Partner closely with marketing and product teams to relay customer feedback and help identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.
Represent Spectramedx at conferences, trade shows, and industry events to enhance visibility and build new business connections.
Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities using CRM tools.
Qualifications
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RT) with direct hospital experience in Canada
(mandatory).
Proven track record of success in medical device sales or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Strong understanding of the healthcare industry and medical device market.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to travel within the designated territory as required.
