Position Overview
Are you passionate about providing solutions for customers that add value to their business while providing an exceptional customer experience? We're looking for a Territory Manager that is eager to build and drive the Vermeer brand and product line. This individual will be responsible for driving sales growth by building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and providing expert advice on Vermeer's product lines. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of these industries and a proven track record in sales.
What You Will Do
Establish and maintain customer accounts by managing work schedules and itineraries to call on current and prospective customers.
Ensure sales presentations, quotes and orders meet customer needs and Vermeer Canada requirements; follows up throughout the entire pre-sale and after-sale process.
Resolve customer concerns by investigating problems and providing solutions that will add value to their operations, providing exceptional customer service and growing the Vermeer brand in the territory.
Analyze market trends, sales forecasts and business plans, manage customer-related data, and provide input and/or assist in the development and implementation of marketing programs, assist in trade shows or similar company functions, as required.
Contributes towards a team effort by assisting/referring to other representatives, as situations develop and by helping Vermeer meet its overall objectives.
Demonstrate equipment as applicable or able, providing customers with the necessary operating, servicing, warranty, and parts information.
Submits all information reports in a complete and timely manner, including MOT requirements, call reports, prospect lists, work plans, expense submissions, vehicle reports, etc.
Conveys a professional presence, ensuring a positive brand representation in the field and in the board room.
Adheres to all company policies and procedures, notably health and safety requirements.
What We Are Looking For
Heavy equipment sales
Strong organizational and decision-making abilities, with a desire to take initiative and accept responsibility.
Ambitious and goal-oriented, with interpersonal and negotiating talents to meet sales objectives.
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills; in person, on the telephone and in a written capacity.
Previous general sales experience with proven track record, preferably in recycling and forestry
Sales or marketing certification preferred.
Valid driver's license: class 5 license.
Willingness to travel throughout the territory.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Sales Force.

Ce que vous ferez
Etablir et maintenir des comptes clients en gerant les horaires et itineraires pour rencontrer les clients actuels et potentiels.
Veiller a ce que les presentations de vente, les soumissions et les commandes repondent aux besoins des clients et aux exigences de Vermeer Canada.
Superviser l'ensemble du processus avant et apres la vente, en assurant des suivis rapides.
Resoudre les preoccupations des clients en analysant les problemes et en proposant des solutions qui ajoutent de la valeur a leurs operations, tout en offrant un service a la clientele exceptionnel et en renforcant la marque Vermeer dans le territoire.
Analyser les tendances du marche, les previsions de ventes et les plans d'affaires; gerer les donnees liees aux clients; contribuer a la mise en oeuvre de programmes marketing; participer a des salons commerciaux ou a des evenements similaires, au besoin.
Contribuer au succes de l'equipe en aidant ou en referant a d'autres representants selon les besoins et en soutenant les objectifs globaux de Vermeer.
Faire la demonstration d'equipement aux clients, en fournissant des informations completes sur l'utilisation, l'entretien, la garantie et les pieces.
Soumettre des rapports d'information complets et ponctuels, incluant les exigences routieres, les rapports d'appels, les listes de prospects, les plans de travail, les notes de frais, les rapports de vehicule, etc.
Maintenir une presence professionnelle, assurant une representation positive de la marque sur le terrain et lors des reunions.
Exigences
Respecter toutes les politiques et procedures de l'entreprise, avec une forte emphase sur les exigences en matiere de sante et securite.
Solides competences organisationnelles et decisionnelles, approche proactive et capacite a prendre des initiatives.
Ambitieux, oriente vers les objectifs, avec des aptitudes interpersonnelles et de negociation pour atteindre les cibles de vente.
Excellentes competences en communication verbale et ecrite, ainsi qu'en presentation, incluant en personne, par telephone et par correspondance ecrite.
Experience prealable en vente d'equipements lourds avec un dossier de reussite, idealement dans les secteurs de l'arboriculture, de la location ou de l'amenagement paysager.
Experience anterieure dans l'industrie de l'arboriculture, des centres de location et/ou de l'amenagement paysager.
Certification en vente ou marketing, un atout.
Permis de conduire valide; permis de classe 5 exigee.
Disponibilite pour voyager frequemment dans le territoire.
Maitrise de la suite Microsoft Office et de Salesforce.

Des deplacements importants dans le territoire sont a prevoir.
