Methapharm Inc. is a specialty pharmaceutical company specializing in hospital & family practitioner-based medicine. We are looking to expand our outside sales force and need a professional, business savvy individual that wants to be part of a "ground-up" expansion. A successful work history in pharmaceutical sales to Respirologists and GPs with a special interest in COPD is preferred, but not mandatory.
Areas of expertise that would be considered preferential would be:
Respiratory or Pulmonology sales or education
Previous cross functional expertise in Specialist and GP call cycle
Understanding of the family practice, multi-touch point environment

Key Responsibilities:
Achieve sales targets for assigned territory by executing required number of appointments, lunch and learns and Key Opinion Leader meetings
Implement collective sales strategies based on objectives of company set targets
Obtain minimum standard of calls required to build and excel in the territory
Identify and develop relationships with the key business drivers within the territory
Identify and assess potential new market segments
Understand and help develop key talking points for a novel COPD medication launch
Collaborate with leadership and peer group to refine and target impactful key opinion leaders
Manage the CRM and keep records up to date in a timely manner
Moderately large territory coverage - target list will be highly selective and not blanketed
Travel may be up to 75%
Attend conferences/meetings as required
Other duties as assigned by management
Experience Required:
Minimum of 4 years experience in a professional medical sales/business development environment
Science or Medical background preferred
A clear understanding of the sales process. Previous experience working within a pharmaceutical company would be considered an asset
Understanding of the timeline and effort of a product launch would be helpful
Hospital/Specialty experience is strongly preferred
Excellent relationship management experience and ability to work with a professional client base
Above standard communication and presentation skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office based programs and basic understanding of working with Cloud based programs
Time management will be a key driver of success
Flexibility for travel within and outside the territory as required
Valid Driver's License with clean driving record with no travel restrictions
