If these are values that you also hold and are interested in our organization, please apply with a resume and cover letter.SummaryThe Territory Manager is responsible to meet annual sales and profit targets through professional representation of AVL and their in-depth knowledge of AVL products.This is a salaried, full-time position with travel requirements of approximately 85% of time across Quebec. 15% of time would be from a home office location. Please note that this position is open to applicants within Quebec only who have previous agriculture sales experience. and ResponsibilitiesSales:- Maximize the sales of AVL Solvet products and customer satisfaction
- Deliver a professional, structured and adapted sales approach during the visits, appointments, conventions and other opportunities for customer interaction
- Build good relationships with clients and opinion leaders
- Personalize service and high-quality support including regular monitoring of customer requests
- Present complete and accurate technical explanations of our productsReporting: - Contribute to the creation, maintenance and updating of the customer database for its territory through complete and accurate reporting
- Ensure the consistent updating of customer information in the sales databaseMarket intelligence- Provide accurate, complete and timely business information including competitive activities, market conditions, ideas, business opportunities to colleaguesAnalysis- Conduct regular analysis of sales results, variances and trends using available resources to identify opportunities and threats within its territory and improve the focus and efficiency of its territory managementQualifications and Experience- Candidates must be fully bi-lingual in French and English
- Requires a degree or diploma relating to agriculture (preferably livestock) with a minimum of 3-5 years experience in agriculture related sales
- Proven success in executing strategic sales plans
- Collaborative team approach with co-workers, industry and customers
- Displays exceptional organizational, time management and communication skills
- Experience within the Canadian animal health industry is preferredAdditional Skill Requirements- Proven ability to drive the sales process from start to finish
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of services and products
- Knowledge of how to develop client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
- Good understanding of how to position products against competitors
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of Windows SoftwareThis role is a permanent full time salaried position at a competitive base rate with incentives including a company vehicle, paid extended health, dental and vision and long-term disability benefits.
