About the role




At Boston Scientific, you will join a team dedicated to improving the lives of Canadian patients through advanced technology solutions and exceptional service support. Boston Scientific is a global leader in Urology solutions, offering products for the treatment of stone disease, BPH, men's health conditions, and laser therapies. More recently, we have expanded our Urology and Gynecology portfolio through the acquisition of Axonics, including the Bulkamid product.



In this field-based Sales position, you will serve as the day-to-day face of Boston Scientific Urology and Gynecology for physicians, clinical support staff, and hospital administrators. Your primary goal will be to introduce new Boston Scientific technologies and support those already in use. The open territory currently includes hospitals in the greater Montreal area.



Successful representatives consistently deliver value to their hospitals, are highly available to their clients, and travel frequently to meet their needs in clinical departments. They are also strong team players who regularly support their colleagues, enabling the team to deliver on the company mission.

Your responsibilities will include:



Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the products and services provided by the division and how they can be effectively used in medical procedures. Visit customers and/or potential customers of Boston Scientific on a regular and planned basis to promote products and services to achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets, as agreed upon with your Manager. Manage and utilize supply agreements and contracts with hospitals and purchasing groups in your assigned territory. Plan daily and weekly visits to assigned hospitals to develop the market for our existing and new products through presentations, in-services, medical procedure support, and contract negotiations. Ability to provide technical training and support to customers directly in Operating Rooms and Urology Suites, as well as support the needs of hospital management, purchasing department, and other hospital staff. Attend meetings, conferences, and exhibitions as required to promote Boston Scientific products and services. Analyze and report to your manager and/or others regarding market changes, competitive activities, product performance, and business feedback. Represent Boston Scientific's values and integrity. Adhere to Quality Management System requirements and company values. Other duties as required.

Required qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in commerce, Science or other related fields Strong communication skills in French and English 2+ years of successful sales experience in Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Software, and/or Consumer products Excellent selling skills Able to travel frequently, for multiple days at a time Valid driver's license with a good driving record Good understanding of the hospital environment Demonstrated business planning development and execution Demonstrated ability to absorb technical, clinical, and product knowledge and disseminate it effectively to all levels of healthcare professionals Competent user of the Microsoft Office suite of applications (PC and mobile) Demonstrates a consistent positive attitude towards the role of working in a team and upholding a corporate image with our customers

Preferred qualifications:



A background in an industry where direct selling to professionals is required and compensation is based on 'pay for performance'.

En tant que representant commercial sur le terrain, le titulaire de ce poste assure au quotidien la promotion des produits d'urologie et de gynecologie de Boston Scientific aupres des medecins, du personnel de soutien clinique et de l'administration des hopitaux. L'objectif principal est d'implanter de nouvelles technologies de Boston Scientific et d'assurer un suivi pour celles qui sont deja en place. Le territoire a couvrir comprend des hopitaux et cliniques de la grande region de Montreal.



Les representants efficaces sont ceux qui apportent une valeur ajoutee aux hopitaux dont ils ont la charge tout en etant a leur disposition. Ils visitent frequemment leurs clients pour repondre a leurs besoins dans leurs departements cliniques. Ils sont egalement des coequipiers qui aident et soutiennent regulierement leurs collegues afin que l'equipe puisse contribuer a la realisation de la mission de la compagnie.

Responsabilites:



Developper et maintenir une connaissance approfondie des produits et services fournis par la division et de leur utilisation efficace dans les procedures medicales. Visiter les clients ou les clients potentiels de Boston Scientific de maniere reguliere et planifiee pour promouvoir les produits et les services de la societe afin d'atteindre les objectifs de vente mensuels, trimestriels et annuels, conformement a l'accord conclu avec le directeur. Gerer et utiliser les ententes et les contrats d'approvisionnement avec les hopitaux et les groupes d'achat dans le territoire assigne. Planifier des visites quotidiennes et hebdomadaires dans les hopitaux assignes afin de promouvoir la vente de nos produits actuels et nouveaux par le biais de presentations, de services internes, de soutien aux procedures medicales et de negociations contractuelles. Etre capable de fournir une formation technique et une assistance aux clients directement dans les salles d'operation et les salles d'urologie ainsi que de repondre aux besoins de la direction des hopitaux, du service des achats et d'autres membres du personnel hospitalier. Assister a des reunions, a des conferences et a des expositions, selon les besoins, afin de promouvoir les produits et les services de Boston Scientific. Analyser les changements observes sur le marche, les activites de la concurrence, le rendement des produits et les reactions de la clientele et en faire rapport a son directeur ou a d'autres personnes. Refleter les valeurs et l'integrite de Boston Scientific. Respecter les exigences du systeme de gestion de la qualite et les valeurs de la societe. Effectuer d'autres taches le cas echeant.

Qualifications requises:



Baccalaureat en administration des affaires, commerce, en sciences ou dans un domaine connexe Tres bonnes competences en matiere de communication en francais et en anglais Au moins deux ans d'experience commerciale concluante dans les secteurs de la sante, de la pharmacie, des logiciels ou des produits de consommation Excellentes competences en matiere de vente Capacite a etre sur la route frequemment pendant plusieurs jours d'affilee Permis de conduire valide avec un bon dossier de conduite Bonne comprehension du milieu hospitalier Capacite a elaborer et a executer des plans d'affaires Capacite a assimiler des connaissances techniques et cliniques ainsi que des connaissances sur les produits et a les communiquer efficacement a des professionnels de la sante de tous les niveaux Maitrise de la suite d'applications Microsoft Office (PC et mobile) Maintien d'une attitude positive a l'egard de son emploi, du travail en equipe et du respect de l'image de la societe aupres de nos clients

This job involves regular collaboration with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders across Canada, the U.S., and/or internationally, making proficiency in English essential for effective communication and alignment. We also determined that the English language skills already required of other employees do not permit the performance of English language skills tasks related to Territory Manager II, Urology position.



However, in Quebec, Boston Scientific limits as much as possible the number of positions for which it requires the knowledge of another language than French. Boston Scientific solely requires proficiency in English where it is necessary for the performance of an employee's duties.
