R3 Environmental Services is part of a large, diversified Company within the Municipal Group of Companies. We are currently accepting applications for Terminal Groundmeninour Drill Mud Facility located in St John\xe2\x80\x99s, Nfld . Position Summary:
The Terminal Plant Groundman performs tasks to ensure the plant components are in good working condition and remain in operation. Continuous monitoring of plant equipment and working in constant contact with the plant foreman regarding operation and maintenance of equipment. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Load, unload and move materials around the plant;
• Assist the plant foreperson with the daily operations and upkeep of the plant;
• Perform necessary maintenance and repairs to all areas of the plant;
• Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labour;
• Be aware of surroundings at all times;
• Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task;
• Protect and promote the interest of this company in all matters and to take actions as required to satisfy such responsibilities;
• Ensure safety of fellow employees;
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience:

• Ability to follow a firm work schedule as directed by supervisor;
• Ability to perform a variety of manual tasks requiring the use of independent judgment and action;
• The ability to understand and interpret written material, especially technical material, rules, regulations, instructions, and reports; applies what is learned from written material to specific situations
• Willingness to work in a team environment;
• Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner;
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures;
• Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors to ensure that projects are completed properly;
• Working safely is a condition of employment.
