Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and standards Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring that all dishes are prepared in a timely manner Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan menus and create new dishes Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food handling practices Ensure proper storage of food items to minimize waste and maintain freshness Provide exceptional service by presenting meals attractively and responding to customer feedback

Skills

Proven experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment, demonstrating strong culinary skills Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal presentation Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in food handling Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members Creativity in developing new recipes and enhancing existing menu items Experience in serving meals in a professional setting is a plus A passion for the food industry and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences
