Conduct individual and group tennis lessons for guests of all skill levels.
Develop and implement engaging tennis programs and activities.
Provide feedback and guidance to improve players' skills.
Maintain the tennis facilities to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
Collaborate with other sports professionals to enhance guest experiences.
Promote tennis events and encourage participation among guests.
Monitor player progress and adjust training plans as necessary.
Foster a positive atmosphere that encourages guest enjoyment and skill development.
Qualifications
Tennis Canada Club Professional 1
Tennis Professional Association Member
Minimum of a 5.0 playing level
Sound knowledge of the Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD) created by Tennis Canada
Follow on-court lesson plans and athlete progression plans
Strong interpersonal and communication skills along with good organizational and administrative knowledge
Ability to work with Red Ball, Orange, Green & Regular ball level
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.), strong computer, email and social media skills
Enthusiastic attitude, positive personality, approachable and friendly
Strong problem solving and customer service skills
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will report directly to the Tennis Director and will be responsible for he following: recruiting players for the White Oaks Junior Tennis Program and conducting private and hotel tennis lessons. Additionally, the candidate will assist the Tennis Director with a range of administrative tasks as needed, including organizing social events, coordinating tennis tournaments, and other related duties.
