Talent Acquisition Manager

Talent Acquisition Manager




Waterloo, Ontario







The Talent Acquisition Manager provides guidance, education, and recommendations on activities related to the full cycle of recruitment. The Talent Acquisition Manager works within their communities and in coordination with the Human Resource Department and the District Leadership Team. Working within the established recruitment and selection processes, the Talent Acquisition Manager works to ensure adequate and qualified staff and volunteers are recruited. The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible to predict, plan, advertise, coordinate, and participate in selection activities to ensure consistent and accountable recruitment strategies are implemented.




The Talent Acquisition Manager embraces the Christian Faith Foundation of the organization; ensures the Christian ethos and the Values, Vision and Mission permeate their job responsibilities; and personally commits to the expectations as outlined in the Statement of Faith.






Key initiatives include:




Community Networking

: Deliver presentations, build partnerships, and promote opportunities through job fairs, social media, and outreach to diverse communities.

Recruitment

: Manage end-to-end recruitment including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding. Support hiring managers and ensure alignment with our Christian values.

Reporting & Metrics

: Track recruitment data, analyze hiring effectiveness, and report on key metrics to leadership.



Education and Experience:




1-2 years of previous experience in a related position College Diploma in Human Resources Human Resources Professional designation (CHRP, CHRL) Networking and Relationship Building Managing Multiple and Competing Projects Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills Maintain knowledge of provincial Occupational Health & Safety legislation, the Act respecting Employment Standards, provincial regulatory requirements and the Human Rights Code. G-Driver's license.
