We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Temporary Sushi Maker to join our culinary team On the weekends. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for food preparation and a keen interest in Japanese cuisine. As a Temporary Sushi Maker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality sushi dishes while adhering to food safety standards and maintaining a clean work environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare sushi ingredients, including fish, vegetables, and rice, ensuring freshness and quality.
Assemble sushi rolls and other sushi dishes with precision and attention to detail.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, following all food safety protocols.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Assist in the training of new kitchen staff on sushi preparation techniques as needed.
Monitor inventory levels of sushi ingredients and communicate needs to management.
Uphold high standards of food presentation and taste in every dish served.
Requirements
We need somebody who can work Sunday.
Previous experience in food preparation or cooking, preferably within the food industry.
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling certification.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow recipes accurately.
Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
