Reporting to the Shutdown Coordinator, the Temporary Shutdown Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the logistics and infrastructure for all shutdowns; this may be an individual shutdown or a block of shutdowns and shuts working concurrently. The successful candidate will: Key Responsibilities
  • Determines Infrastructure requirements (trailers, water coolers, office equipment, restrooms, wash cars, portables, etc) based on contractor and temporary employee needs.
  • Rental equipment (light plants, welding machines, generators, cranes, crane inspections, etc.).
  • Develops plot plans for all shutdown related areas including laydown areas, tool cribs, trailer locations.
  • Develops plans for mobilization and demobilization of all temporary facilities.
  • Ensure equipment and paperwork matches what was ordered.
  • Coordinates facility hookups and setup of trailers and wash cars and organizes sanitation disposal and cleaners for them.
  • Inspects final cleanup of all areas to expected standards of housekeeping.
  • Ensure rental equipment is returned to vendors in a timely manner.
  • Manage budget by balancing POs verses invoices.
  • Attends post shutdown lesson learned sessions.
Education and Experience
  • Prior logistics experience; min 3 \xe2\x80\x93 5 years
  • Able to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • SAP or Avantis experience preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office and G Suite programs
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Excellent computer, organizational and time management skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills. Must be able to coordinate activities and resolve priority conflicts between various departments to ensure work plans are implemented in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Experience with document control.
  • Completion of Grade 12.
