Reporting to the Director Agro, responsibilities for this position include the following:



Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative's vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach. Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels. Safely load, transport, and deliver anhydrous ammonia (NH3) to customer locations. Operate NH3 nurse tanks, trailers, and delivery trucks in compliance with National Safety Code, Department of Transportation (DOT) and company regulations. Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance to ensure equipment safety and reliability. Accurately complete all required delivery logs, manifests, and safety documentation. Follow all environmental and safety protocols for handling hazardous materials. Maintain professional communication with customers and report any delivery issues or concerns. Assist with facility operations, including loading, unloading, and general maintenance as needed. Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures. Who you are:



You are looking for a career in Agriculture and Customer Service:


You have proven experience operating commercial vehicles, prior experience delivering NH3 or working in agricultural fertilizer operations is preferred. You have knowledge of NH3 handling procedures and safety regulations. You have a basic mechanical aptitude or ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues. You are honest and trustworthy, are results oriented, and strive to be the best in the work that you do. You are well organized, capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision. You have a strong attention to detail and can remain calm under pressure. You are able to fulfill the physical job requirements; you can lift 50lbs as needed and are able to climb and maneuver equipment in various weather conditions. You will have exposure to agricultural chemicals, dust, noise, and varying weather conditions. You are willing and able to achieve WHMIS, Anhydrous Ammonia and TDG certifications. You possess a strong work ethic, understand the concept of "full service," and are willing to work additional hours during seasonal peaks. You carry a valid Class 1A driver's license.
