Summary The Mill Operator (Labourer) will report to the Mill Supervisor. This is an entry level position with the Operations team at Hecla Keno Hill. About Us The Keno Hill mine, located within the Keno Hill Silver District in Canada\xe2\x80\x99s Yukon Territory. Keno Hill, is one of the highest-grade silver districts in the world, is situated 350 kilometres north of Whitehorse, and lies within the traditional territory of the First Nation of Na-Cho Nyak Dun. It comprises 242 square kilometres (km2) with numerous mineral deposits and more than 35 historical past-producing mine sites. Keno Hill is expected to produce 2.7-3.0 million ounces of silver in 2024 as the mine ramps up production. • Operate bobcat, mini excavator
• Operate an overhead crane
• Safe mixing of reagents
• General Mill and yard clean up

Work Environment and Job Schedule Employees will be frequently exposed to; outside weather conditions, snow conditions; extreme cold, extreme heat, potentially hazardous wildlife; moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock; explosives and vibration. The noise level in most work environments is occasionally loud. This position will require you to work a rotating shift of 14 days on and 14 days off and you will be provided camp housing and meals.
