Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a temporary live in caregiver for a private male employer with Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 2 to assist with all activities of daily living.

The ideal candidate will be caring, attentive and can take direction well.

Start Date: December 11, 2025 to January 5, 2026

Location:

Burnaby, BC

Shifts & Hours of Work:

Temporary Live-In Monday to Thursday 7:00am start date

December 11, 2025 - January 5, 2026

Compensation:

$300 per shift

Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):

Personal care such as showering, dressing assistance, toileting assistance, and repositioning Tube feeding and bi-pap support (putting on the mask, turning on, ect) Meal preparation and eating assistance Medication administration Light housekeeping duties: taking out garbage, laundry, dusting and cleaning

Overnight:

Private room, shared bathroom and kitchen Interventions approximately 2 to 4 times per night Bi-pap and repositioning

Required Qualifications:

1-2 years of Caregiving experience Caring and attentive Ability to take direction from the employer Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (Minimum 2 doses)
