Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Live In Caregiver to assist a private male employer with quadriplegia, with all activities of daily living.

He enjoys watching movies, playing video games and visits with his friends.

Location:

Nanaimo, BC (near Buttertubs Marsh Park)

Shift & Hours:

Permanent overnight shifts

Friday, Saturday, and Sundays Either 4:00pm or 6:00pm start time 12 hour shifts Days can be negotiated

Compensation:

$225 per overnight shift

Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):

All aspects of personal care such as dressing, condom catheter care and peri care Skin and wound care as needed Meal preparation for dinner Light housekeeping duties Possibly one turn at night Spare room provided to sleep

Requirements:

Driver's license and vehicle is an asset HCA certified or 2+ years of experience
