- Temporary General Labourer (2 month contract)
Location: Edmonton, AB
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Temporary General Labourer to support the setup and organization of our Edmonton Service Branch. This role will focus on building shelving, creating designated storage areas, and organizing products in a way that enhances workflow efficiency. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring our facility is structured for long-term success while also supporting day-to-day operational needs.
What You Will DoAssist in organizing the branch by building shelving and establishing structured storage areas.
Create and label bin locations for all products, ensuring every item has a designated "home."
Receive and put away incoming products in an organized and efficient manner.
Support inventory organization to improve accessibility and workflow.
Maintain a clean, safe, and well-structured work environment.
Support other branch operations and general labour needs as required.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve space utilization and organization.
What You Will BringHigh school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a warehouse or general labour an asset.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks) safely; certification is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50+lbs).
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
Basic computer skills for inventory management
Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to changing priorities.
Physical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy objects (50+lbs).
Ability to work in varying temperatures (Seasonally).
