Paladin Security is Hiring a Security Guard!:

Monday - Thursday | 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Overview:

Responsibilities:

Conduct proactive and reactive patrols across library premises Perform exterior patrols for the majority of the shift Respond to incidents promptly and professionally Enforce site rules and library policies Prepare accurate reports and maintain detailed notes Complete daily shift reports and incident investigations Control access and monitor activity Perform additional duties as assigned by site leadership

Requirements:

Valid Ontario Security Guard License Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C Certificate (from a WSIB-approved vendor) Ability to stand and patrol for 6-8 hours per shift Fluent English communication skills (oral and written) Legally authorized to work in Canada

Nice to Have:

Certification in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB) Applicants lacking these certifications can complete Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to onboarding Note: This training is unpaid as it is a pre-requisite, but Paladin covers all costs with a 6-month commitment
