RAPS is Seeking a Full Time Temporary caregiver to assist an individual with Autism (E5)

Location North Edmonton (Near Manning)

Days: Monday to Friday 6 week contract with potential for extension*

Hours: 9:00am-5:00pm

: Duties include but are not limited to: building a trusting relationship with client, accompanying on various outings within the community (Clareview rec centre, Nina Haggerty centre, library), cue personal care, practice social skills and setting healthy boundaries, provide firm and gentle direction, explore potential job opportunities with client while providing job coaching, provide a safe environment with supervision, and companionship.

Please note: 1 small dog in the home

Qualifications: the successful candidate must have an updated criminal record check containing the Vulnerable sector check portion, valid driver's license & vehicle, First-Aid/CPR Certificate (or be willing to obtain), be a non-smoker and speak Clear fluent English. Must have previous experience supporting individuals with Autism. Ideal candidate will be caring, understanding, and patient. Educational Assistant and/or Support Worker Certificate is an asset.

Rate of Pay: $20.00/ hour
