Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Temporary Driver to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods, picking up bumpers from various locations while providing excellent customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in commercial driving and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced environment. you must be able to lift 35 lbs consistently. Your role will be vital in ensuring timely deliveries, proper load handling, and maintaining positive relationships with clients and team members alike.

Responsibilities

Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles with manual transmission to complete scheduled deliveries and pickups. Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols are followed. Drive route schedules efficiently while adhering to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies. Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries or pickups. Assist with warehouse tasks such as organizing inventory, moving supplies, or preparing shipments for transport. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle inspection reports. Perform routine vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues promptly to ensure safety and compliance.

Experience

Previous experience as a delivery driver or courier is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to operate box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmission. Experience in warehouse environments involving heavy lifting, moving supplies, or equipment handling. Familiarity with forklift operation and pallet jack use is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Valid G driver's license suitable driver classification; clean driving record required. Knowledge of route driving best practices and safety procedures for load & unload activities. Join us in delivering excellence!
