Quolus Construction is currently seeking:
Experienced Telehandler Operator (class 7) for one of our multi-residential projects. The right candidate should demonstrate safe operation of equipment and be responsible for moving materials to the correct location within the job site.
A valid driver's licence is required.
Duties and responsibilities:
Moving controls, devices, and levers to drive forklifts to transfer materials between unloading, processing, loading, and storage area. Organizing and securing stored pallets and paper. Loading or unloading materials manually, off or on to pallets, platforms, skids, or lifting devices. Performing routine post and pre inspections to ensure suitable working nature. Reporting to Manager regarding any damage to racks, faulty equipment, or any other safety hazards. Perform general clean-up tasks to keep work area clean and free of excess debris. Maintain personal work area.
Job Requirements:
2+ years telehandler experience. 3-5 years construction experience (preferably multi-family). Valid class 7 telehandler ticket. Valid driver's licence. Excellent teamwork skills. Able to follow instructions as directed by the supervisor. Able to operate in high speed and fast paced environment. Must be able to commit to full time employment. Ability to work under minimal supervision. Be able to commute to and from work on time. Must own PPE.
