As a VoIP Telecommunications Management Analyst at National Bank, you\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99ll participate in the Bank\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s transformation and have a direct impact on clients. Reporting to the IT Telecommunications Manager, you\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99ll work to ensure the quality of operations and projects for our internal business lines.

Your role:\xc3\x82

  • Analyze change requests related to telephony infrastructure, assess the impact on existing applications, and suggest and carry out the appropriate changes
  • Perform MACDs for telecommunications infrastructure (telephony, fax, etc.) and implement client requests
  • Monitor voice service availability and capacity, follow up on incidents/problems and solutions, analyze causes to define the appropriate corrective measures and implement them in operational mode
  • Interact with suppliers to resolve incidents and manage activities in line with internal service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Produce operational reports and improve monitoring and management tools
  • Provide level 3 support for VoIP infrastructure and liaise with suppliers to resolve complex issues when needed
  • Provide on-call operational level support for all aspects of VoIP infrastructure
  • Work with the architect who oversees all projects and provides recommendations
You\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99ll work as a VoIP analyst in a team of 16 people. You\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99ll collaborate with various technical experts to understand and assess the IT needs of the organization and its initiatives in order to contribute to operations and projects.

Competencies required:
  • Bachelor\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s degree in a related field and/or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience\xc3\x82
  • Solid VoIP experience (Cisco Suite: Call Manager, Unity/CUC/UCCX, Expressway, Cube, Webex, Microsoft Teams, Audiocode, SIP, H323, MGCP, RTP, QoS, etc.)
  • Experience of network routing/switching and firewalls, required. In-depth knowledge of IP networks, required.
  • Solid experience of SIP protocol
  • Knowledge of collaboration tools (chat, video, fax, peripherals such as headsets, etc.)
  • Knowledge of contact centre solutions (Genesys, NTR, etc.)
  • Bilingualism, both spoken and written, (English and French) required, as you will regularly deal with clients who speak only English
Preferred competencies:
  • CCNA certification, an asset
  • Excellent ability to work in complex environments and grasp complex technological concepts
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Independent and results-oriented
