We capture telecommunication engineering designs in various operations support systems (OSS) to support operating and planning functions across the organization. We are looking for an enthusiastic, bright individual to assist us.Your job duties may include:Assist senior staff with operations support systems (OSS) updatesConduct research and analysis of engineering design documents and systems of recordGenerate regular status reports and other reports as requiredPrepare training documentationThis job will provide you with the following professional development:Power system telecom services knowledgeBasic transmission system protection and control knowledgeExperience with operations support systems (OSS)Experience with Engineering design documentsSelection Criteria:Discipline: Telecom or power system engineering, Telecommunication Engineer, Electrical Engineer or Computer ScienceBasic understanding of protection and control principlesBasic understanding of networking and telecom systems and servicesAbility to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlinesSelf-starter with exceptional communication skillsProficiency with MS Office SuiteDeadline: September 9, 2024Acronym requires that all students applying for student opportunities be enrolled in post-secondary level studies and be returning to full-time studies upon the completion of their work term.
