We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of our project. This role is based at our Markham corporate office and will report directly to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities



Project Oversight & Delivery



Lead the execution of telecom infrastructure projects from planning through to close-out, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, Gantt charts, and progress reports. Ensure deliverables meet all technical, safety, and quality standards.

Stakeholder Collaboration



Serve as the main point of contact for client project representatives. Lead regular meetings with internal teams and clients to review status, resolve issues, and align on next steps. Communicate project milestones, risks, and updates to all relevant parties clearly and proactively.

Team Coordination & Leadership



Supervise two internal Project Coordinators, providing direction, task oversight, and support to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines. Collaborate closely with the Construction Manager and Fibre Development Manager to ensure cohesive execution across all project phases. Foster cross-functional teamwork to maintain workflow efficiency and resolve conflicts.

Budget & Resource Management



Track project costs and manage budget performance in line with contractual obligations. Approve project expenditures and coordinate procurement of materials and services. Analyze variances and implement corrective actions where needed.

Documentation & Reporting



Maintain accurate project records, including schedules, approvals, change orders, and incident logs. Prepare and submit regular internal and client-facing reports.

Risk & Issue Management



Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and obstacles. Lead resolution of on-site or process-related issues in collaboration with field leadership.

Qualifications:



Minimum 5 years of project management experience in telecom, utility construction, or infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of fibre optic network construction (aerial and underground). Proven experience managing multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Familiarity with Ontario construction standards and permitting requirements. Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools (MS Project, Excel, Blueprint, AutoCAD, etc.). PMP certification or equivalent experience considered an asset. Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
