Job Duties
  • The position will be instructing material in post-graduate courses and related areas as required. These may include Strategic planning, change management, IT operations management, programming languages, data analytics and BI, ethics & privacy, agile project management, enterprise network and application architecture, and/or advanced database concepts.
  • Development of curriculum and training materials in accordance with leading industry standards.
  • Instruction of theoretical material on-campus, online or by distance (print or video).
  • Classroom/lab preparation and instruction of practical learning outcomes.
  • Evaluation of students.
  • Administration duties including but not limited to meetings, student counseling, program inventories, etc.
  • Supervision, participation and/or evaluation of students in a practicum/work integrated learning setting.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)
  • Related Masters Degree with major in Computer Science, OR Masters of
  • Business Administration with an undergraduate in Computer Sciences or
  • related.
  • Recent/relevant experience (2 years in the last 5) in the computer
  • science/information technology field or an Information Technology Certified
  • Professional (ITCP), or two year\xe2\x80\x99s recent/relevant post-secondary
  • instructional experience.
  • Effective communication (both oral and written) skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as a team member and foster teamwork.
  • Effective instructional ability.
  • Demonstrates valuing diversity.
