Job Summary:
Agassiz Harrison Community Services is a multi-faceted social service agency providing 32 programs in support of early years, youth, seniors, food security, family therapy, family support, substance use, literacy, immigrant services, employment and operating a Thrift Store. We are seeking a part-time
Technology Coordinator
to manage and support the daily IT operations of Agassiz-Harrison Community Services. This role ensures the stability, security, and functionality of our systems while delivering responsive technology support to staff and volunteers. Qualifications:
1) Diploma in Computer Information Systems or related field
2) 2+ years' experience in IT support or systems administration (non-profit or small business environment preferred)
3) Valid Class 5 Driver's License and clear Driver's Abstract
4) Clear Criminal Record Check for vulnerable populations
Job Skills and Abilities:
Technical Skills:
1) Strong knowledge of networking, endpoint management, antivirus/security systems
2) Familiarity with Microsoft products (Office 365, SharePoint), cloud storage, data backup
3) Ability to maintain and troubleshoot shared drives, VOIP systems, and peripheral devices (e.g. printers)
4) Experience managing basic server or cloud-based systems (e.g. iCloud, Google Drive, OneDrive)
5) Comfortable training non-technical users on systems and practices
Soft Skills:
1) Strong planning and documentation skills
2) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially with non-technical users
3) High level of discretion and integrity when handling confidential data
4) Able to work independently and manage competing priorities
5) Budget-conscious and resourceful in identifying cost-effective solutions
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Administers and maintains the agency's IT infrastructure (hardware, software, networks, servers, cloud services)
2) Provides day-to-day technical support and resolves user issues (hardware, software, access, connectivity)
3) Installs, configures, and upgrades systems (e.g. Windows, Office, security software, specialized apps like CAMS)
