As a leader in providing telecommunications services, we specialize in providing installation, maintenance and emergency repair support to telecommunications companies from across Canada.What You\'ll Do Here:Must be safety conscious and able to adhere to a highly focused safety cultureDeliver exceptional customer experiences and high-quality installations for IPTV, Internet and Phone Service in customers\' homes and businesses.Install and repair support for Phone, Internet and TV transported over fiber networksBe able to offer customers Products that may help better their experienceTroubleshooting and repair support for IPTV, Internet and Phone Service transported over fiber, copperResponsible for a geographical area to complete assigned work on a daily basisProvision and maintain outside plant facilities, including buried and aerial fiber and copper networks.Self-motivated and highly organized to manage workloads with minimal directionHighly Adaptable to constantly changing technologies, methods, and proceduresWorking at heights in different spaces in accordance with provincial and federal guidelineWhat You Bring to the Team:Excellent written and verbal communication skills1+ years of technical field experience.Experience with GPON, Copper and SHS is an asset.Excellent Customer Service skills.Must be willing to work outdoors in changing weather conditions, all seasonsMaintain a valid provincial driver\'s license and provide a driver\'s abstract quarterlyMust be willing to travel and work in various locationsSuccessfully complete a criminal background checkComfortable working with computersEvening, Weekend and Holiday work is requiredSales background preferred but not a mustThe compensation for this role is based on a piecework model and an hourly training rate of $22.00.Aecon fosters diversity, inclusion and belonging within and across our organization.
