Job Description

As a Technical Writer, you will be required to produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for the intended audience. This role works closely with various departments to translate technical concepts into accessible content.

Location:

160 Consolidated Drive, Paris, ON

Dedicated Day Shift:

8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday



Job Duties:



Create documentation for technical and non-technical audiences (including user manuals, service manuals, and technical training materials) ensuring that documentation is consistent, professional, and technically accurate Collaborate with engineers, developers, product managers, and others stakeholders to gather information and ensure content accuracy Create hydraulic and electrical circuit schematics and diagrams using existing engineering drawings Conduct research and analysis on new technologies and products to provide accurate and relevant content Implement user feedback to improve documentation and user experience

Skills and Experience:



Strong understanding of technical concepts and ability to translate them into user-friendly documentation that is clear and concise. Ability to conduct thorough research and gather accurate information from various sources. Ability to analyze and synthesize information to create coherent documentation. Ensure all technical details are correct and consistent. Strong command of grammar, punctuation, and writing styles. Meticulously proofreading to eliminate errors.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's Degree in a related field such as English, Communications, Computer Science or Engineering Software Proficiency utilizing tools such as Adobe inDesign, Paligo(CCMS), Adobe Illustrator, Corel Designer, SolidWorks, SolidWorks Composer or other documentation software a definite asset Strong writing and communication skills are essential to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner
