Job Description

Requirements:



Solid customer service focus with experience providing support to remote users

Strong team ethic where team members offer support and reach out for assistance to provide the best possible response for a client in distress

Ability to project a professional and positive image through excellent oral, written, and presentation skills

Ability to use existing documentation to resolve problems and to create clear procedures when a new issue is encountered through the use of flowcharts, network design documents, diagrams, and charts

Ability to recognize trends in problems and recommend proactive changes to keep problems from recurring, or minimize the impact cost-effectively if they cannot be avoided

Solid professional behaviour that respects confidentiality and privacy

Ability to identify when clients can benefit from a new or different technical service

Ability to travel to client sites when required to respond to an urgent problem or to participate in a project installing new tools and solutions (valid driver's license and vehicle are required)

Technical Skills:



1+ years of customer service (answering calls and handling tickets) experience is a must
1+ years of experience in a Helpdesk profile or Managed Service Provider is a must
Experience with Desktop Support Troubleshooting ( Windows 8/10/11 and MacOS)
Working knowledge of Windows Active Directory and Exchange Online
Working knowledge of basic Networking concepts ( VLAN, Default/Static Routing, VPN)
Working knowledge of VOIP system (FreePBX)
Experience with troubleshooting peripherals ( Printers, scanners etc)
Experience and knowledge of virtualisation is a plus (VMware/Hyper-V)
Mikrotik experience is a plus

Qualifications:



Post-secondary program in Computer Sciences Information Technology

MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) certification preferred

Certifications in VMware (VSP, VTSP, VCP) and Microsoft (MCP) beneficial

Hands on following Vendors will be considered an asset:



Microsoft
Cisco
Fortinet
Mikrotik

Pay: $45,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
