Overview: As a Technical Services Technologist you will be responsible for development of applications in support of Sonova Environmental Testing and imaging system applications. This role would also contribute to investigating and documenting findings related to technical problems from the field, and testing Sonova products during product development.

What you\'ll do:

  • Test devices using Sonova test programs.
  • Perform environmental and accelerated life testing according to prescribed standards or as required.
  • Incorporate product reliability objectives into future environmental testing for product development.
  • Work cross-functionally, especially with Project Management, R&D, Manufacturing and Reliability team.
  • Maintain calibration and maintenance schedules, recording calibration results to ensure ISO standards are met.
  • Develop and maintain environmental testing interface hardware as well as control software in support of environmental conditioning and testing.
  • Work closely with developing new tests if applicable, and alignment between different locations.
  • Assist in testing of devices for product development, which also includes homologation testing, for Sonova products.
  • Help with technical investigation of failures that come in house, for ITE, BTE and RIC devices.
What you bring to the team:
  • A college diploma in a technical/engineering field such as Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer or Mechanical Engineering or any similar program
  • Experience working in a similar role working in collaboration with cross functional teams
  • Experience working in regulated, medical devices industry an asset
  • Ability to utilize data to make project decisions and evaluate performance
  • Ability to think outside the box
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
