As we continue to expand, we're looking for a motivated Technical Sales Professional to join our dynamic team and help us further our growth.
Job Overview:
As a Technical Sales Professional, you will be the first face our clients see when they enter the showroom. You will be responsible for gathering information from the client to determine which fireplace application best fits their needs. Additionally, you will be required to create a written, signed contract, collect deposits, and book installation dates.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales:
Help clients by showing them a wide range of product, answer any technical or installation-based questions, and book estimates
Client Consultations:
Meet with clients to understand their needs and offer advice based on installation requirements
Technical Expertise:
Be the point of contact for clients who have questions about the product or installation; be willing and able to consult installation manuals to learn about the variety of product we carry
Proposal Development:
Work individually or with other staff members to create customer quotes, be able to explain proposals to clients and secure product deposits
Collaboration:
Be able to communicate efficiently with our product distributors about parts, warranty issues, and order updates
Client Support:
Be able to answer phone calls, assist clients with basic technical issues, and refer for service appointment if necessary
Qualifications:
Experience:
Fireplace sales; Ideal candidate will have experience in HVAC or construction
Technical Skills:
Ability to read and understand blueprints and electrical schematics; ability to explain complex technical concepts in an accessible manner
Sales Skills:
Ability to build relationships with clients, builders, and interior designers; has the drive and ability to close sales
Communication:
Excellent written and verbal skills is a must; detail oriented
Problem Solving:
Strong problem-solving skills; ability to think creatively to identify solutions for clients
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in HVAC or construction
Computer knowledge is a must
