Technical Sales Representative - Cutting Tools

Location: Guelph & Surrounding Area

Prerequisite:

CNC Cutting tools, CNC machines, Industrial CNC industry experience

If you have industry knowledge of cutting tools or have industry experience in CNC machining, this role is for you.

No previous sales experience is necessary. You'll be given a well-established territory within the Guelph and surrounding area mixed of small to large customers and servicing a variety of different industries.

What You'll Do

Provides timely, technical support and problem resolution for field service questions. Supports customers with process/application expertise on projects. Works with manufacturers and customers in evaluating and selecting products. Creates, and executes product test opportunities, documents test progress and reports results. Recommends products to meet customer needs. Perform needs analyses for customers and produces strategic, cost-effective solutions. Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months)

Understand and embrace our systems/ procedures, culture, core values, value propositions, go-to market strategies. Strong understanding of the territory and customer base. Building strong relationships with our existing customers Building strong relationships with our supplier partners. Growth in new business opportunities at both existing and new customers.

What You Bring

Mandatory industry experience with CNC machining companies. Strong communication skills Excellent project management, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration. Must be a self-starter and have a comfort level working in a fast-paced environment.
