Robert Half is seeking an Technical Recruiter for a CONTRACT position based in Waterloo, ON. The Technical Recruiter will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle for IT roles within the company. This includes sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring candidates for various technical positions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the IT landscape, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successfully placing top-tier technical talent.Key Responsibilities:-Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract highly qualified IT professionals.-Write and post job descriptions on various job boards, social media, and other relevant platforms.-Utilize multiple sourcing methods, including social media, job boards, networking, and referrals, to identify and attract potential candidates.-Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidates\' technical skills, cultural fit, and overall suitability for the role.-Maintain relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing regular updates and feedback.-Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide regular updates on the recruitment process.-Maintain and update the recruitment database and applicant tracking system (ATS) with accurate candidate information.-Promote our client as an employer of choice by showcasing the company culture, benefits, and growth opportunities to potential candidates.-Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.-Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.-Proven experience as an IT Recruiter or similar role in the technology sector.-In-depth knowledge of the IT industry and technical roles.-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.-Strong organizational and time management abilities.-Proficiency in using recruitment software and applicant tracking systems (ATS).-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple positions simultaneously.-Strong networking and relationship-building skills.-Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools.Robert Half is the world\'s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
