About this opportunity:




Ericsson's AI & Data team in the Cloud Software & Services (CSS) business is seeking a motivated and skilled Technical Project Manager to lead and oversee projects related to AI and Generative AI. This dynamic role involves guiding interdisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions that align with Ericsson's strategic objectives in data-driven technologies. This position caters to candidates with low-mid level career experience in technology project management

What you will do:




Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets and deliverables in alignment with business goals and technology initiatives. Coordinate project plans for the design, development, and deployment of AI and Generative AI solutions tailored to Ericsson's CSS portfolio. Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Support the integration of Generative AI solutions into existing Ericsson Cloud Software & Services products. Lead cross-functional teams, including AI & Data architects, data scientists, cloud engineers, and technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals and deliverables. Foster collaboration across teams within Ericsson and external partners while maintaining accountability for project milestones. Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders to communicate progress, challenges, and insights. Translate complex AI-related concepts (e.g: RAG, MCP...etc) into accessible communication for non-technical stakeholders. Leverage project management methodologies to manage project workflows and ensure timely iterations. Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity across AI and Generative AI projects #####

Long Description




Bachelor's degree in project management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Three plus years of experience in technical project management, preferably in AI, Data Science, or software development environments. Proven track record of delivering technical projects on time and within scope. Hands-on familiarity with Project management frameworks, such as waterfall, Agile/Scrum or Kanban, in project execution. Understanding of AI concepts, algorithms, and Generative AI models, along with cloud technologies. Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate teams and manage competing priorities. Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications). Prior experience in managing projects involving AI SaaS platforms, cloud computing, or ML model development. Basic programming knowledge or experience with AI/ML tools is a plus. Exposure to Ericsson's AI & Data initiatives or telecom-centric AI solutions. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage technical and non-technical stakeholders. Analytical mindset to anticipate challenges and make data-driven decisions. Strong attention to detail while driving big-picture results. Passion for technology and a keen interest in exploring innovative AI solutions

Your Pay

The salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.



Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan: Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

We invest in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. Ericsson's Group Retirement & Savings Program offers an automatic 2% company contribution into the Pension Plan. Ericsson also offers a 50% match of employee's contribution into the Registered Retirement Savings Plan, up to 8% of the employee's contribution (maximum of 4% match). This leads to a total company contribution potential of 6%. Employees will also receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost of basic life insurance and basic accidental death and dismemberment coverage, as well as short-term disability coverage. Employees also have the option to participate in Ericsson's Stock Purchase Plan.



Your Time

Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 18 days of accrued vacation, 3-5 personal days (depending on role), 10 holidays, 1 volunteer day, and sick days. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 10 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
