About the role



Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $80,000 - 100,000 CAD/year

Remote Work: Hybrid (In-Office 2 days)

This role directly impacts delivering leading-edge SaaS technology in the eCommerce/payments/shipping sector for the North American market.

Key Responsibilities:



Strategic Planning & Process Optimization



Evaluate and refine development workflows to improve efficiency, scalability, and performance. Define and document technical project requirements, including timelines, dependencies, risks, and success metrics. Work closely with senior leadership to align project goals with broader company objectives.

Project Execution & Delivery



Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring high-quality delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams--including product, engineering, marketing, and sales--to define project priorities and scope. Ensure all technical projects meet scalability, security, and performance requirements. Manage multiple development teams working across different technology stacks, ensuring smooth coordination and integration.

Stakeholder & Team Management



Act as the bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable development plans. Facilitate clear communication across teams to prevent roadblocks and ensure alignment. Track project progress, identify potential risks, and proactively implement mitigation strategies.

Qualifications & Experience:



5+ years

of experience in

Project Management

, preferably within software development.

2+ years

of hands-on experience in

Software Development

or working closely with development teams.

Diploma or Bachelor's degree

in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Skills & Competencies:



Strong understanding of software development processes, product lifecycle management, and agile methodologies. Proven ability to

manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines

in a fast-paced environment. Strong

problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills

. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership and external stakeholders.

Technical Skills:



Required

: Experience with managing enterprise web application projects

Beneficial

: Familiarity with

Java, Node.js, React.js, and MySQL

. Hands-on experience with

project management tools

like Asana or Jira. Understanding of

Google Cloud Platform (GCP

).
