Job Description

The primary role of Project Management function is to manage technical programs, projects and initiatives affecting area goals and objectives. Key deliverables include driving the creation and management of cross-functional leadership teams; facilitating and coordinating a variety of technical program plans, tasks, and milestones. Maintains an awareness of industry trends, business conditions and internal processes and practices to influence the success of programs and initiatives.

The primary objective of Engineering Project Management(PD) specialization within Project Management(PD) Job Family is to manage product development programs from concept phase through to launch in accordance with internal and external standards and requirements to deliver these products to market in agreed timescales, quality and budget; securing organizational commitment and resources. Included in this is strong project leadership to drive end-to-end project delivery. Ensuring that feasible and realistic project plans are developed incorporating evidence based timelines. As well as ensuring that appropriate risk management has been undertaken and strong communication with all key stakeholders is maintained pre-project to obtain buy in and throughout the project life cycle. . Performs work in a specialized area of expertise that requires knowledge of fundamental themes, principles and concepts. Typically requires a university degree or equivalent work experience. Responsibilities might include:

Builds productive internal/external working relationships. Occasionally leads the work of project teams and might formally train junior staff.

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree. Minimum of 5 years of related experience. Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
