Technical Product Specialist

at Diversco Supply Inc.--a leading wholesale distributor in the propane and natural gas industry for over 35 years--you'll bridge the gap between our products, customers, internal teams, and vendor partners. This hybrid role offers a dynamic mix of technical sales support, customer training, and post-sales service across Canada. Job Responsibilities:

Offers a dynamic mix of technical sales support, customer training, and post-sales service across Canada, particularly in applications involving mechanical systems, propane and natural gas technologies. Build deep knowledge of products, customer needs, and industry standards Support sales and marketing with technical expertise and application guidance Identify new opportunities through site visits and customer engagement Troubleshoot field issues and provide code-compliant solutions Assist with proposals, demos, and product launches Participate in industry events and committees Develop and deliver training programs; update SOPs and technical materials Maintain accurate product content and digital assets with marketing Provides technical information in accordance to, CSA B149.1, CSA B149.2; Transport Canada codes and ASME Codes.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in Technical and Consultative Sales Product management or marketing experience Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn in a fast-paced environment Solid presentation skills and a strong public speaker Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills High Figure it out factor Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to read and analyze technical drawings and specifications Understanding of Codes and Standards

Preference will be given to candidates with the following:

Experience in Technical Sales, Sales Management and Marketing Familiarity with product management principles Someone who is detail-oriented and likes to help customers and team members deliver solutions and solve problems Experience in a customer-facing role Experience in performing and leading training sessions Has the ability and love to travel (Canada and USA) Experience working in or within the oil and gas industry
